Graham Potter has reportedly made it possible for him to succeed Erik ten Hag as Man United manager next season.

According to Sky Sports Potter turned down the chance to take over Ajax and thus cleared the way for United to work.

This along with Potter great working relationship with coming sporting director Dan Ashworth adds to Potter chances of a move to Old Trafford.

The British man used to work with CEOs during his Brighton era and it may not take long to convince him.

Potter was photographed with Ashworth last month amid rumors that United owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe was a fan of Potter.
